Terms of engagement
These terms govern use of the website at cognitvertex.click and the commissioned studies offered by Cognit Vertex Analytics Co., Ltd., a company established in Bangkok in 2014, with its studio at 230/7 Ramintra Road, Tha Raeng, Bang Khen, Bangkok 10220. By using the website or accepting a written estimate, you agree to these terms. If you are commissioning on behalf of a household or a firm, you confirm you may bind that party.
The work
A commission is a piece of cartographic and field work described in a written estimate: the place, the question, the visits, the plates, the finding, the fee, and the limits. Website pages describe the usual shape of a place study, a map plate, a canal and flood reading, or a parcel comparison. Only the estimate you accept is the contract. Geospatial analytics and data visualization, in this studio, mean those sheets and that writing. A boundary certificate, when you need one, stays with a licensed surveyor and the land office.
Acceptance
An estimate is accepted when you confirm it in writing — including by email to hello@cognitvertex.click — and, where the estimate requires it, when the deposit or advance fee is received. We may withdraw an estimate before acceptance if the ground, the records, or access changes. Silence is not acceptance.
Your part
You supply records you want considered, arrange permission to enter private ground, and name any person who must be present. You do not ask us to conceal the commission from another party who has a real interest in the same boundary. You review proofs within the time stated in the estimate, or we may treat silence after a reminder as acceptance of the proof for the purpose of scheduling, not as a waiver of the single included revision if you later speak within that round.
Intellectual property
Until the fee is paid in full, plates and findings remain the property of Cognit Vertex Analytics Co., Ltd. After payment, you receive the copyright in the delivered plates and finding for the site they describe, and you may share them with your surveyor, architect, builder, or the district office. We keep a copy for our archive. We may show a redacted plate in the map room unless the estimate says otherwise. You may not present our sheets as a licensed survey or remove the caption that states their limits. Methods, field-book habits, and unpublished notes stay with the studio.
Liability
Sheets are interpretive. They can be wrong where marks mislead, records are incomplete, or the ground changes after the last walk. We correct errors that are ours within the revision practice in the estimate. We are not liable for construction, purchase prices, flood losses, neighbor disputes, or decisions taken beyond what the finding supports. To the extent Thai law allows, our aggregate liability arising out of a commission is limited to the fee you paid for that commission. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that Thai law does not allow us to exclude.
Website use
The pages are ours. You may read them and share links. You may not copy the text or the plates into another commercial site, scrape the site, or send unlawful material through the inquiry form. Information on rates is an explanation, not an offer that we must accept from anyone who writes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Courts of Thailand have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory right you have as a consumer under those laws. Questions about a commission go first to hello@cognitvertex.click or (02-509-3187), so we have a chance to answer before either of us files a claim.
